When was the last time you felt naked in front of a large room of people? Last week? I know I can’t be the only one!
So, a funny thing happened to me last week. I admitted some truths that were also some of my deepest shame/fears to share with other people. Yup, I did that. And I did not die, despite what my mind and body initially told me would happen. “We’ll be so vulnerable! We’re admitting failure!” If you missed it, you can find it in my archives:
Being human is messy, let’s normalize it.
Instead, what it DID show me was that:
Shining an honest light into my dark places as I tend them gives others permission to breathe into all of themselves too;
The mess of life is where the magic and our medicine is - it’s the meaty center where the divine meets the physical, and writing in this way brings more light, humor, and healing into the world;
People, especially women, want to talk about the mess and medicine of life in a safe, judgment-free, light yet deep, and compassionate space - the kind of space I love creating.
I love story-telling/teaching and this experience reconnected me to that pure love again.
Let’s get cozy, compassionate, and connected!
So, in that vein, I am launching a new venture that actually achieves all those things! I’ve created this space on Substack to host my writing, photography, podcasting, and other new goodies.
AND this is a safe space to host compassionate, vulnerable community dialogue, exploration, and laughter around the ideas that come through.
This year my soul is calling in some big things to share with the world, I am pretty damn excited. Last November, I joined a bad-ass year-long academy for the intuitive and healing arts, that is also helping me fine tune my adulting skills in the business world so I operate like a witch ninja rather than a toddler unknowingly spilling chocolate milk on white carpet.
Making that commitment has walked me into some deep places for my own inner work, which is also rippling out into the kind of potent healing and medicine I can offer my clients and the world. And it’s showing me how much my voice and story-telling are a big part of my medicine to share with others.
It has also connected me with brilliant, wise, funny, and empowered women so we can hold each other accountable; keeping integrity and authenticity front and center in my life. Some of my friends have noticed and have asked what the heck I am up to.
I am grounding more deeply in the cycles of the Earth, while inspired by the story in our stars and the beauty of everyday life. I am learning to laugh more easily at myself when I take life too seriously and usually meet myself with compassion when I have a Mom Fail.

If any of this sings to your soul and you’d like to follow along on my journey as I glean the wisdom and medicine from the mess of life, then I invite you to join me as a FREE subscriber.
If you’d like to dive deeper into the extra juicy nuggets of transformative wisdom I’ll be sharing regularly, then you can also support me as a Paid Subscriber AND we can be in deeper conversation about what I am sharing and how it shows up in your life too. And if not, that’s ok too, everyone is welcome here.
In addition to my story-telling, I’ll also be sharing some extra special goodies with Paid Subscribers: sound healings, channeled wisdom, inspiring music, and seasonal perspectives on how to navigate what life is bringing up.
Oh, and recipes, because this Kitchen Witch cannot resist an opportunity to empower you with the knowledge that is your birthright - herbal remedies, food as medicine, and ritual/celebratory goodies.
Your support would also help support my family while I am honing my gifts in 2 schools (Kairos Healer’s Academy for the Intuitive Arts, and the Holistic Integrative Creative Art Therapy program) and writing two books this year - one on conscious parenting/humaning from an astrological perspective (the “user manual” we wish every human was born with), and another on stories for navigating spiritual awakening and transformation (which in the old days we called “a mid life crisis”).
While you follow along with me on these learning journeys, you also get to enjoy the benefits of my expanding talents, and contribute to my creations through thoughtful exchanges.
You can click here to subscriber (free and paid options).
And if this sounds like something others in your life might enjoy too, I would so appreciate you sharing this invitation with them!
Thanks for reading, I so appreciate your presence here!

ps. I am not into social media… for a lot of reasons it’s just not my sweet spot, nor does it feel like a space for authentic, safe conversations that create awareness and expansion. I pour my heart and share my offerings with my email list and my website, however, I occasionally share on Instagram and FB if you’d like to follow there too. (IG: TheAlkhemaerie)
